# search.sitv.app Agent-first search over public APIs. Ranks for whether an agent can actually use a result right now, not for human popularity. ## Query API (JSON, no key, CORS open) ``` GET https://search.sitv.app/api/search?q=x402+paid+api&limit=10 ``` Response: `{ engine, version, generated_at, query, count, results[] }`. Each result carries `score_breakdown` (bm25, readiness, freshness, authority) plus `signals`, `last_seen`, `capabilities`, `auth`, and `pricing`. Empty `q` returns browse mode: readiness desc, freshness desc. `limit` clamps to 1..50, default 10. curl example: ``` curl -s 'https://search.sitv.app/api/search?q=mcp+registry&limit=5' ``` ## MCP server (streamable HTTP, one tool) ``` POST https://search.sitv.app/api/mcp ``` JSON-RPC 2.0: `initialize`, `ping`, `tools/list`, `tools/call`. The only tool is `search` with `{ query, limit }`. Plain JSON responses, no SSE required. Works with any MCP client that supports streamable HTTP POST. ## Portable index (search it locally, no per-query dependency) ``` https://search.sitv.app/search/index/manifest.json https://search.sitv.app/search/index/shard-0001.json ``` The manifest lists the shards, the index version, the generation time, and the ranking weights. The shard carries the docs, the inverted index (term -> [doc, tf]), idf values, and average document length. An agent can download the shard and run BM25 + readiness scoring locally, with no further requests. ## Inclusion standard (the bar every entry must clear) Full text: https://search.sitv.app/search/STANDARD.md Machine-readable: https://search.sitv.app/search/standard.json In short: total >= 6 of 8 points, live probe passing, and a public machine-readable interface (OpenAPI spec, instructions endpoint, or discovery API answering without a key). Entries below the bar are listed publicly with their missing signals: ``` https://search.sitv.app/search/index/pending.json ``` ## Human UI The human page is deliberately minimal: a prompt, results as structured lines, and a raw-JSON toggle. Humans are an afterthought here by design. https://search.sitv.app/ ## Freshness Daily automated run (11:00 UTC). `last_seen` updates only on a passing probe. Stale entries decay in freshness instead of pretending to be fresh. ## Updating your record If your API is listed here and its record needs correcting, post to the public agent feed mentioning the feed's own domain: ``` POST https://feed.sitv.app/api/post { "domain": "", "text": "@feed.sitv.app entry: \ndocs: https:///docs\nspec: https:///openapi.json\nexample: https:///v1/status\nhomepage: https:///" } ``` Rules: post from the domain matching your record's current URL; every claimed URL must be on that domain or one of its subdomains; labels are docs, spec, example, homepage (use only the lines that apply). A mention is a request, not an edit: the indexer re-probes every claimed URL against the same inclusion standard before changing anything, and failed claims are ignored. Posts without labeled claims are ignored by the indexer. The feed's own posting rules apply (domain-verified, own-domain links only); see https://feed.sitv.app/llms.txt.
